That's it.

OP posts:

Lauren

BillysMyBunny · 07/11/2020 21:50

Jessica

VenusClapTrap · 07/11/2020 21:50

pp’s not pop’s!

VenusClapTrap · 07/11/2020 21:49

Natalia. I like pop’s suggestions of Jessamine and Laurel though.

YoniAndGuy · 07/11/2020 21:36

Lauren seems pretty naff - v dated. Up there with Kelly and Hayley for me.

Natalia is a bit odd. Natalie is ok. The variation just sounds unnecessarily fussy on an already slightly fussy name.

Jessica is the best of a bad bunch here, but it’s a perfectly nice name.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 07/11/2020 20:36

Natalia is gorgeous! But it can sound a bit exotic in the UK, if that would bother you? (as it's very popular in Russia/ parts of Eastern Europe).

Jessica and Lauren are nice (particularly the Shakespearean Jessica) but as others have mentioned, they perhaps feel a little dated due to their popularity 20-30 years ago.

I'd also suggest the less popular Thalia/Talia, Nerissa, Jessamine, and Lara/Larissa as choices - all lovely.

Hohofortherobbers · 07/11/2020 20:33

All lovely, I'd choose Natalia

Bubbletrouble43 · 07/11/2020 19:27

Jessica. By a mile

finallychangedmyusername · 07/11/2020 19:27

Natalia is gorgeous! Jessica is a great name too. Lauren isn't to my taste.

SeanCailleach · 07/11/2020 19:25

Natalia. Haven't met one for ages. One of my favourites.

Jessica and Lauren are lovely too

MikeUniformMike · 07/11/2020 17:34

Laura is so much nicer than Lauren.

CharitySchmarity · 07/11/2020 17:25

Jessica, if only these exact forms are allowed. I like Laura better than Lauren (in fact I like Laura a lot ), and Natalie better than Natalia.

user495275 · 07/11/2020 16:23

I would go with Natalia. It feels a little less dated and gives more nickname options. And it's not too popular so she's less likely to be one of several in her class.

Jessica is nice, it was definitely more popular in the early 2000s but it's still #33 in the popularity charts so I guess it hasn't dated yet. Lauren on the other hand feels very 90s and is rapidly declining in popularity.

Ellmau · 07/11/2020 15:27

Lauren is definitely dated

Jessica to some degree but it is a classic name so I think will make a comeback. I think I would go with that. Or Laura. Also like the suggestion of Jessamine.

Natalia is beautiful, but feels a little foreign, fine if you have heritage from one of the many countries where it would be used, but trying a bit to hard if not.

unchienandalusia · 07/11/2020 15:22

All feel very old school and overused (from about 15 years ago)

PeaceAndHarmoneeee · 07/11/2020 15:20

If you like Lauren, how about Laurel? Not as common as Lauren.

meltonmypancake · 07/11/2020 15:10

All are lovely

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/11/2020 15:10

Natalia.

CaffiSaliMali · 07/11/2020 14:59

Natalia for me. I also like Natalie and Natasha.

Lauren next - nice name but very 90s.

Jessica last but only because I knew an awful one so it's tainted for me. Objectively speaking it's a nice normal name with a bit of an 80s/90s feel.

Jessamine and Jessamy are nice alternatives.

NannyR · 07/11/2020 14:49

Jessica and Lauren feel very 80s/90s to me. Have they made a comeback?
I don't think Jessica ever went away - I know of Jessicas of all ages, to me it's a timeless name that doesn't really date.

HomesUnderTheSpanner · 07/11/2020 14:40

Natalia.

SugarCoatIt · 07/11/2020 14:32

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 07/11/2020 14:31

Jessica

Kanaloa · 07/11/2020 14:31

They’re all nice, I like Jessica the most.

june2007 · 07/11/2020 14:28

I have a Jessica. Love it but it is very popular.
Lauren not keen but it,s ok.
I like Natalie. Not too many Laurens or Natalie,s of baby age at the mo.
