Genesis is actually not uncommon as a girls' name in USA.

roar . I think you'll find 'Genesis' has been around since the beginning.

Just because you can do something, doesn't always make it a good idea.

I have a Genevieve. But I think Genesis is totally ridiculous. So you may or may not be interested to know that some other names I like are: Clemency, Julia, Juliette, Aurelia, Gabriel, Inigo, Benedict.
