Sibling for Ruby

We have a DD called Ruby and are having another baby in a couple of months.

We have no names! We struggle so badly with names I'm looking for inspiration. We don't know we're having so need options for boys had girls.

I don't want another 'R' name, I prefer names that don't inevitably get shortened and I would prefer to avoid the "ee" sound at the end of another name. It's easy to say what I don't want but hard to find something that fits the bill!

Any suggestions? Smile

Thank you. There's some options on here I'd not thought of but like and I especially like Isaac and Mia! They work well with the surname too

We just had a girl. These were short names I came across and liked: Zoe, Kate and Eva.

@bakewelltarty I love the name Amber but I'm not sure if having two colour and gem stones would be a bit matchy? I've also considered Olive but wasn't sure again for the colour reason. It's so hard! Sad

@Dollywilde I actually really like Samuel from your list and also Joseph. I'd be one of those parents who calls their child Samuel not Sam Grin I think it's more than I wouldn't name them Samuel for the BC but intend to call them Sam from day one. Anyway, both non starters as already mentioned them to DP before and he says too biblical Hmm
