Twin Names

Thinking about names for twins (a boy and a girl!) but need opinions or suggestions.
So far we like Atticus and Audrey or Lennon and Marlowe.
Thoughts on which pair of names sounds better?? We also need middle names!

What about miles, Ziggy , Otto , Toby & Audrey? Really dislike the other names Audrey is quite nice though ... congratulations on your twins x

I wouldn't choose the first names with the same initial..I think matching initial middle names would be fine to give them a link.

From your list Atticus and Marlowe are my favourites. Although Marlow is a town near here.

Audrey reminds me of my Nannie and she's a dowdy old woman

My friend has a son called Lennon and a dog called Marley so Lennon and Marlow are a little too close to that (although unless you also know them its not an issue Grin)

My twins have the same first initial. Unfortunately they have a lot of medical and therapy appointments. Post has never been an issue - almost everything has their full first name - but medical records is a massive pain. Stuff frequently getting added to the wrong twin’s notes, the wrong twin’s records being pulled up etc. Would probably do it differently if I could but to be honest they were the only two boys names we liked‘

As pp have said names starting with the same initials is a big mistake and Audrey is dreadful and dowdy .

What about Lennox instead of Lennon.

Audrey is so cute, not keen on Marlowe.

Instead of the match initial could you go with more of a matching sound, length etc? So Audrey and Orson etc?

As someone with a matchy name as a sibling, I wouldn’t do that to twins. We still get confused and I cringe sometimes when I tell people her name (though I like both of our names).

I love Audrey but dislike Atticus.
Lennon and Marlowe are both great names, not common but not strange either. They also go lovely together.

I like Audrey too, but Atticus is just too "my parents are actors".

Marlowe and Lennon aren't to my taste but there's nothing weird about them.

What else is on the list, OP?

Don't have names starting with the same letter, it's a nightmare to manage documents, appointments and letters!

I love both Atticus and Audrey. I'm not a big fan of twin names starting with the same letter, but otherwise it is a nice pair. I don't mind Marlowe, but like Audrey much more. I prefer Lennox over Lennon.

For middles you could use Atticus Lennon and Audrey Marlowe. Otherwise: Atticus Rafe, Atticus George, Atticus Finn, Audrey Luna, Audrey Mila, Audrey Matilda.

Atticus and Audrey are both great names but I'm not convinced they sound great together.
Sorry but I really dislike Lennon and Marlowe.
