Which do you prefer?

Kane choice inspired by Citizen Kane and the cool Harry Kane.

What a horrible snobby thread.

I prefer Dale out of the two.

meltonmypancake · 07/11/2020 15:12

Kane.
Reed?

viques · 07/11/2020 15:12

Could you not mingle the names and have a Kale ? Or indeed a Dane ....

PinkSkyBlue · 07/11/2020 15:10

Love Kane

drumandthebass · 07/11/2020 15:06

Neither. Both awful

ThoroughlyForumed · 07/11/2020 15:03

Afraid I've got memories of awful Kanes and Dales from school. Bullies, disruptive, naughty, sweary... it's my own judgement as there were a lot when I was in school (early 30s now) so could be fine now as you dont really hear of them much on young kids

grapewine · 07/11/2020 14:51

Neither, sorry. And I wouldn't go with Cain either ...

SugarCoatIt · 07/11/2020 14:42

Dale

wid07 · 07/11/2020 14:42

Kane. But I also think if caning. Maybe that's why I like it.

Kanaloa · 07/11/2020 14:38

I would choose Dale. I think it sounds more friendly/upbeat but Kane sounds a bit harsh to me - maybe reminds me of cane/caning. Dale is nice though.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 07/11/2020 09:01

Not keen on either, but do like Dane.

Or Kale.

I taught a Kael. That’s not a typo.

If I’m honest, I don’t like the sound of either. If I had to choose, I’d pick Dale though.

GreenClock · 07/11/2020 08:53

Dale has a nice sound.

EuphieKat · 07/11/2020 00:47

As a huge Spurs fan I have to say Kane!!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 06/11/2020 23:43

Op hasn't asked for opinions on the names though, has she.

SpeedofaSloth · 06/11/2020 20:56

Neither, if I am honest.

midnightgrace · 06/11/2020 20:54

Surely this is a wind up.......

IOwnDogsNotFrogs · 06/11/2020 20:25

I like them both, but prefer Dale spelt instead as Dael.
Used to know a lovely Kane when I was younger.
Kayden is another that gets trotted out as a ‘naughty boy’ name but the one I know at primary school is an absolute angel and so sweet.

CharlieBoo · 06/11/2020 20:23

They are both awful.. sorry

PoodleMoth · 06/11/2020 20:18

Dale

NorbertMeubles · 05/11/2020 15:51

Dale is a lovely name

Whoooootaminute · 05/11/2020 15:44

Neither - sorry.

Doodar · 05/11/2020 15:42

chavtastic

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 05/11/2020 15:37

And by the way, a kinder, more mannerly child you couldn't meet. So strange. Hmm

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 05/11/2020 15:34

I wouldn't chose them myself op but oh my god at the comments. One poster wouldn't invite a child home if they one of the names... Well there's a name for you pp that's for sure. What a lovely parent you must be. Seriously, only on mn do people, usually seemingly intelligent, see a name causing naughtiness ffs. I had one of these children in my primary class today so yes there are some around currently.

notalwaysalondoner · 05/11/2020 15:27

Kane.

But I don't love either.
