No people, 1 dog

Marcipex · 02/11/2020 11:08

A few dogs.
No humans, but I know someone who often remarks that she wanted it for her dd but didn’t use it. Everyone thinks it’s a good thing she didn’t as the dd is an absolute loon, and would be sure to be called Loony.

There's a Luna in DGD' s class plus a Lyra and Lena. There's also a Lila in the other class.

FlemCandango · 02/11/2020 10:51

My very beloved cat

LindaEllen · 02/11/2020 10:49

Other than the girl out of Harry Potter, no humans. A dog and a cat, though (both named after the Harry Potter one!)

I really wouldn't. As much as I think it's a lovely name, it really is a bit of a pet one.

RaspAsYouChokeOnTheToupee · 02/11/2020 10:39

My dog. And several other dogs.

I personally don’t know any Lunas that are children but we’ve said our dog’s name in public and a few strangers/kids have said it’s their daughter’s name/their name. The parents usually give me a dirty look for choosing to name my dog after their child Hmm
