We have a DS called Sullivan. We now have another son born yesterday But we can decide on a name. Here is our current short list but would like your opinions:

Monty
Remy
Reuben
Freddie
Bertie
Ralph
Marley

Other suggestions also welcome. 😊

Many thanks in advance

Marley by a mile

I love the name anyway but also think it sounds great with sibling name.

Names like Reuben are far too common with a sibling called Sullivan

LittleTiger007 · 29/10/2020 16:07

I like Remi or Reuben. Lovely names. I wouldn’t spell in Remy though as that’s a drink (lovely drink though!)

Sullivan is excellent.

Bertie, Monty and Freddie are a bit chinless, IMO.

I love...
Gulliver (but a bit problematic with Sullivan)
Balthazar
Greer
Lysander

Congrats OP!

With a brother Sullivan I'd expect another "surname name" - suggestions below:

Everett
Bennett
Callahan
Cameron
Donovan
Anderson
Edison
Calloway
Rafferty

Quizeerascal · 29/10/2020 13:35

Parker
Hudson
Brooks

Out of your options I like Remy and Monty but feel like they need a longer surnamey type name behind them Montgomery or Remington perhaps. Osbourne nn Ozzy might work too

SeanCailleach · 29/10/2020 10:56

Of your list I like Marley the best. The other names seem less wonderful than Sullivan which is a really great name.

Subla2401 · 29/10/2020 10:52

Love the name Sullivan! What about Theodore, Arlo or Otis?

Bubbletrouble43 · 29/10/2020 09:59

Monty goes well and I like it. Also like Freddie.

CorpusCallosum · 29/10/2020 09:57

Reuben

Mish85 · 29/10/2020 09:48

I know a Sullivan with a brother Vincent. I've always thought they go so well together. Sully and Vinnie or Vince.

Congratulations 🎊

AllPlayedOut · 29/10/2020 09:43

Reuben.

10questions · 29/10/2020 09:40

Monty

Not Ralph

Firebird83 · 29/10/2020 09:39

How about Nolan, Quinn, Rafferty, Niall, Reilly, Connell, Brennan, Flynn, Rory or Aidan

DirtyDeeds · 29/10/2020 09:37

Mike 😁

Mousepad20 · 29/10/2020 09:35

Monty as a nickname for Montague.

doubleshotespresso · 29/10/2020 09:28

Gilbert!

Just joking! Congrats OP.
From your list I love Minty and Reuben

Fivemoreminutes1 · 29/10/2020 09:22

I like Reuben and Freddie best.

Chester
Sidney
Willoughby

SaffieSoph · 29/10/2020 09:15

All Iovely names! I like Monty and Ralph from your list best. I think they both go well with Sullivan.

user1493494961 · 29/10/2020 09:05

Monty is nice. If you go with Remy you don't need Remington, showing my age but that was the make of my old typewriter.

EggyPegg · 29/10/2020 08:46

Monty was my instinct on your list.

Marmaduke
Felix
Casper
Barney
Tate
Quinn

IckleBear · 29/10/2020 08:28

I would choose Remy out of those, maybe Remington nn Remi.

Rafferty
Declan
Fletcher
