Hi,
So were expecting our first girl... We are set on the name Florence. We love vintage, classic, old lady charm names.
We are stuck on middle names though we have narrowed it down to two...
So your opinions please
Florence Evelyn or
Florence Elsie...
Thanks in advance!

So would Florence Evelyn Elizabeth work? Too long? Our surname is four letters long. I also like the names Amelia, Amelie, Olivia and Ivy...oh my this is so difficult. Can you tell im having a nightmare with this.
Any help appreciatedSmile

Florence Elizabeth for me as it's dd's name.

Love Evelyn but the three ways to say it out me off

Elizabeth gets it for me flows beautifully and I do love naming after loves ones for middle names.

I quite like Elsie though.

Florence Evelyn is lovely but Florence Elizabeth for me would be a winner if the name had meaning. I’ve always thought middle names should have meaning, but that’s just my personal choice.

Either way it’s lovely😊

Thankyou everyone!
Seems Florence Evelyn is better which had thought it does sound nicer, easier to say.
Funny as Florence Elizabeth was on our list as its my mums middle name, so that would have meaning, however i wonder if i just like Evelyn a little more and sounds better!?

Evelyn definitely!

I think it sounds nicer with a one or three or even four syllable middle name, so Evelyn pronounced the three syllable way sounds more elegant than the two syllable Elsie.

Florence Elizabeth

Florence Eleanor
Florence Ellen

Florence Evelyn is elegant.

Florence Elsie is taking the old lady thing way too far.

Florence Evelyn.

Absolutely not Florence Elsie. I know you like old fashioned but for Christ sake she'll have to tell other kids her middle name when they ask. Please don't saddle the poor girl with blooming Elsie as a middle name. Florence is cute though.

Florence Annie

I should add it would be, Evelyn pronounced Eh-va-lyn!
