Alice has a bit more oomph and identity to me.

Anna is very pleasant but I think it fades into the background a bit. Merges with all the 4 letter names ending in a like Ella, Ayla, Isla, Anya etc.

Alice fits best with Emily but I much prefer Anna. It’s been one of my favourite names for years.

Have you considered Alyce? Same name, but a prettier spelling imo and still very traditional name.

If not I'd go for Anna, though it may date more readily than Alice.
