We are sorted for a boys name, but struggling to agree on a girls name.

Opinions on these 3?

Thanks Smile

Phoebe is beautiful

Ladderofyears · 25/10/2020 09:29

I like Lucy the best (by a long way).
I do like Sophie but I know about 5000 so that would put me off.
I dislike Phoebe - I don't think I can ever get past the "feeble" sound.

Lucy Smile

Ladyw13 · 24/10/2020 17:53

I love them all, but Lucy is my favourite.

Nacomi · 23/10/2020 16:34

Sophie is elegant, sophisticated and really nice.

Phoebe reminds me of Friends Phoebe! Not my favourite character

Changedname81 · 23/10/2020 16:27

I also love the older spelling of Sophy and I like the French spelling of Lucie

Phoebe is my fave girls name ever!

No help, they are all lovely names

AdoptedBumpkin · 23/10/2020 15:47

Sophie or Lucy for me, not as keen on Phoebe.

Eggbaguette · 23/10/2020 15:45

Sophie and Lucy tied.

octoberfarm · 22/10/2020 23:09

Sophie, then Phoebe. Still like Lucy though!

LilacCandle · 22/10/2020 23:09

Lucy

RunningFromWaterGhoul · 22/10/2020 23:07

Lucy.

Sophie will get called Sophia (and as someone with a similar name issue, that gets annoying really quickly) and Phoebe will get her name written as Pheobe.

ShivD · 22/10/2020 23:01

Lucy is lovely and is one of those names that has been that way forever and doesn’t age or get too popular.

I also like Phoebe but Sophie is a bit too popular for me.

SadWife2020 · 22/10/2020 22:30

Lucy

Lucy

Lucy

CharlieBoo · 20/10/2020 21:34

I’m a Lucy but I say Sophie, I love it

Pudding01 · 20/10/2020 13:35

Love Lucy and Sophie! They are on my list too, along with Jessica.

I think Lucy just wins for me. It is less popular and every one I've met (who are all my age or above) are absolutely lovely women.

pincertoe · 20/10/2020 13:28

I love all three. I would go for Lucy as really wanted that for dd but dh said no as he had an ex called lucy. I later found out they were 12 when they went out so not sure that should matter 😂

paperclippink · 20/10/2020 02:43

All perfectly nice; I'd consider Lucy the least used/boring at the moment.

Ginandplatonic · 20/10/2020 01:00

All nice names, can’t go wrong with any. Sophie is my favourite, then Lucy, then Phoebe.

MercyBodle · 20/10/2020 00:51

That's a tough one as they are all great names. And equally good with the brother's name. I'd edge towards Lucy, but really, any of them would be lovely.

AlwaysLatte · 20/10/2020 00:47

And Lucy is lovely too

bubblebubblebubbletrouble · 20/10/2020 00:46

I like them all have a 5 year old Sophie who's in a class full of Sophia's/Sofia's but also know a Phoebe & a Lucy under 3
I wouldn't choose Phoebe because I think it is misspelt too often and that would annoy me.

AlwaysLatte · 20/10/2020 00:46

Phoebe sounds like freebie so I've never liked it. Love Sophie, it's definitely due a come back.
