Baby coming via c-section in two days, and still no name. Our current names are -

Boys - Laurence (Laurie), Alistair, Alfred (Alfie or Freddie) and Francis

Girls - Cameron (Cammie), Rosaline, Frances, Ingrid and Nancy

Please give thoughts, and any name suggestions..... Thanks!

What did you pick?
For what it's worth:
Laurence (Laurie) - gorgeous
Alistair - lovely
Alfred (Alfie or Freddie) - ok but so many of them that it's a bit boring
Francis - I can see the appeal but it feels a bit religious/Catholic to me

Cameron (Cammie) - don't like at all, Rosaline - ok. Prefer Rosalind.
Frances - nice - prefer this to the male version,
Ingrid - ok
Nancy - nice.

Love Alfred and Nancy

I'm a bit late to the party so I'm guessing you already had your c section!! Hope it went well, would love to know what you picked as a name.

I love Alfie or Freddie for a boy. For a girl, I like Cammie because it sounds like the French name Camille, which I like. I also like Esme and Ada which while they're not on your list, are along the same kind of theme of your other names I think.

I have a Laurence/Laurie born last December, and I think it's a beautiful name!

Anecdotally though, I feel like it might be about to rocket in popularity. When we looked last year it was at about number 450 and so was the Lawrence spelling, but I know of one other baby Laurie born this year and I keep seeing it discussed on this board now...
