Remy - thoughts? And ideas for a middle name?

We’ve had a difficult job deciding on a boy’s name but Remy has recently grown on us. Just wonder what other people think of it? Would you associate it with a boy? As keep reading it’s a unisex name. And any middle name suggestions?

I don't think people use the word remedial anymore. So that won't be an issue.

I like Remy.

There is one in DC's year, I like it.

There is a boy Remy in my DS’s nursery. I like it!

I think it’s really nice - I know one and it suits him. I think of it as unisex.

Makes me think of the Nicholas Cage character in the Big Easy. I like it and definitely male.

Its the rat out of ratatouille. Or possibly the brandy? But definitely the rat, I think that's what everyone will immediately think of. Sorry.

Martin

I’ve only ever heard it as the name of the rat from the movie ratatouille, it’s a boys name in that.

When I was at school some horrible kids used to call the children in the “remedial” groups ‘Remies’
Or use ‘remy’ as an insult

I can’t help it. But that is what I associate it with.
Could be a regional thing though.
I’m down south and like Jesse for a boy - until DH said what if he ever goes to Scotland?!
