Garcellesaidwhaaat · 10/10/2020 11:04

Charis /Karis - lovely
Callie - sweet but not quite
Cassia - lovely

Leonie (how would you pronounce this?) No
Romilly no
Phoebe no

Finn - yes
Kit - no
Jude - no

Tillygetsit · 09/10/2020 22:58

Cass-e-a. I dislike Casha.

Changedname81 · 08/10/2020 21:13

I would say Leonie as Lee oh knee.
If you put the accent: Léonie then I’d pronounce as Lay oh knee. I worked with one once who insisted on being called Noni (no knee) Grin

I digress; Romilly is gorgeous, love Phoebe, love the sound of Carys but not your particular spellings (personal preference)

From your boys names I like Finn, the rest I know boys with those names who I don’t care for :)

I know you didn’t ask for suggestions, but I’m going to leave Flynn and Seth here for you to ponder Grin

Good luck with everything Flowers

emilybrontescorsett · 07/10/2020 22:58

Juliette (is this the French spelling?) And Jude.

ElowenSmile · 07/10/2020 06:59

@Tillygetsit do you say Cass-ee- ah or casha?

OP posts:
MercyBodle · 07/10/2020 05:54

I like: Charis, Juliet (only like this spelling), Romilly, Phoebe.

I like: Finn, Kit, Joel.

Tillygetsit · 06/10/2020 22:10

I have a Cassia so that's obviously my favourite. Charis is lovely too.
Of the boys names I like Joel best.

POP7777777 · 06/10/2020 21:47

Callie and Finn are my favourites. 😊

SentientAndCognisant · 06/10/2020 21:45

MeMeMeYou · 06/10/2020 21:23

Juliette
Carys rather than Karis
Finn

MikeUniformMike · 06/10/2020 20:39

Firebird83 · 06/10/2020 19:14

My favourites are Juliette and Joel

Awrite · 06/10/2020 19:04

Love Juliette, it was on my dc2's list. Love Calleigh (prefer this spelling) but wasn't brave enough to use it.

Finn, Jude and Ryan are 3 of my favourite boys names.

Not a big fan of the rest. They might grow on me. All apart from Romilly. Can't see that growing on me.

ElowenSmile · 06/10/2020 18:57

@ThroughThickAndThin01 that's funny i have managed to hit both sides!

ElowenSmile · 06/10/2020 18:56

No, I know, you are absolutely right. My daughter's name is French. I think it's because it's one of the home nations that i feel slightly odd about using a welsh name when I am not. Not saying that's at all rational!
