What are your thoughts on the name Amy? Would be a sister to Margot

Really struggling with names!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Both lovely names. Ive got a gorgeous 17 year old Amy. She has met other Amy's but has never had another in her class or even year at school.

I like Amy but prefer Juliet. Neither are very popular IMO.

Sunbird24 · 01/10/2020 20:53

I don’t know of even one little Amy or Juliet. Do you have to decide now? Could you decide which suits her when she arrives?

WildCherryBlossom · 01/10/2020 20:53

Amy & Juliet are both beautiful. I know one child Amy (and two adults), I know one child Juliette and one adult Juliet.

Either one is great with Margot

Mamascoven · 01/10/2020 20:52

Margot & Juliet sound so lovely together. Much better than Amy!

hippy1952 · 01/10/2020 20:49

Beautiful!

eclipseofthefart · 01/10/2020 20:49

That was my concern that it was a bit boring.
Do you not think Margot and Juliet sounds French though? They don't sound right together, maybe I'm overthinking

How many of you know children called Amy? I know a lot of adults but can't think of any children. If we did go with Amy, wouldn't want 5 in the same class as her!

It's ok but a bit boring. Juliet is much better.

eclipseofthefart · 01/10/2020 20:46

I also really like Juliet but worried they sound too French when said together, people will think their parents are French when the only word I know is Bonjour! Grin

I like it Op, think it goes well with Margot
