Emily or Lily?

I like these two names — which do you prefer? Is Lily a babyish name for an adult? Thanks 💖

Lily is gorgeous. Emily is boring and common.

I prefer Lily. I know a fabulous, feisty Lily who's in her 80s and it really suits her.

Lily is beautiful. I find Emily a bit boring, but love Emmeline.

Me too! I’ve just noticed the lovely Emily (I’ve been listening to the song by S & G). Hopefully, it sinks in popularity before I have a girl lol it was so ubiquitous in the 90s when I grew up, but Perry Mason/Emily Gilmore have shown the name in a new light 🌟

I have an Emily good name and my eldest is Mia Lily.

I like them both, but Lily / Lilly is v popular at the moment so I'd go for Emily.

They're both lovely names in their own way. I slightly prefer Emily.

Emily. Shortens better, no confusion over spelling, better on an adult.
