Love:
May (only common as a middle name, fresh and sweet as a first)
Jo/Josephine
Polly

Like:
Clara

Lara is okay. I'm not a fan of Nina or Norah.

DramaAlpaca · 01/10/2020 22:04

Nora is truly frumpy and I'm not mad on Nina but the rest of your list are all nice.

Josephine is my favourite.

OhTheRoses · 01/10/2020 22:01

Clara, or Pollyanna!

@FourPlasticRings I'm with you! I'm not down with the Disney films or know of many little ones as this is our first. Really helpful thank you. X

@custardtorte I do think Clara is more popular, but it might be my perception- Disney's adaptation of the Nutcracker caused a bit of a surge a couple years back and I see people offer it up as a name on here very frequently. I know more Claras than Laras.

Josephine but prefer Josie as a nn

MJMG2015 · 01/10/2020 18:58

I really like Clara.

honkytonkheroe · 01/10/2020 18:57

I think it's a great list. I like Lara best I think.

JoanApple · 01/10/2020 18:41

Clara is lovely

Never0000 · 01/10/2020 18:39

@FourPlasticRings oh I thought that Lara was higher in the charts than Clara so that's a good point. X

I like Lara best. Clara is a bit too popular for my tastes and the rest I'm not sold on.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 01/10/2020 18:24

Love Lara Nina Nora

ellenpartridge · 01/10/2020 16:42

Love Lara. Also like Clara, Nina...

Lockdownfatigue · 01/10/2020 16:25

The only one I like is Nora!

bridgetreilly · 01/10/2020 16:25

In order, I like:

Jo (Josephine on bc) - I would probably use Josie as nn, but there are lots of good options
Clara
Nora - though I prefer Norah
Lara
Nina
Polly
May

Fudgefeet · 01/10/2020 16:22

Nora is lovely

quarantandrums · 01/10/2020 16:20

May! 😍 it's beautiful and so rarely used.

Shayisgreat · 01/10/2020 16:13

I like May as a nn for Mary. Don't like it by itself.

Shayisgreat · 01/10/2020 16:12

I really like Nina, Nora, and Lara.

MyCatReallyIsAGit · 01/10/2020 16:09
