Alice, but both are nice.

danascully96 · 02/10/2020 02:17

Alice -- there's a quiet beauty to this name and it seems so whimsical.

SE13Mummy · 02/10/2020 00:58

Harriet for me although I love Alice too. I actually know three pairs of Alice/'Harriet friends. One pair are in their twenties, another pair are 16 and the final pair are preschoolers.

Heh1991 · 02/10/2020 00:49

Both so pretty! I honestly couldn’t pick!

Hattie as a nickname is gorgeous too!

RoseMartha · 01/10/2020 22:05

Alice

Missdrifter · 01/10/2020 21:29

Good choices! We had our little girl in July and we went back and forth between Alice and Hariett (Hattie) In the end we went for Alice and are pleased with our choice. Still love Harriet though.
Let us know what you decide.

Harriet is lovely. I am not keen on Alice.

Odile13 · 01/10/2020 20:56

Absolutely Alice

Chirpychirpy3 · 01/10/2020 20:51

Harriet

RuthW · 01/10/2020 20:48

I love Alice but the camel always puts me off.

LemonandLavender · 01/10/2020 20:44

Harriet.

Raahh · 01/10/2020 20:35

My great gran was called Harriet. She had 2 sisters- and one was Alice. It is also my niece's name. So I like both really, they have lovely associations.

My youngest daughter (10) has a Harriet in her class, with a grandmother called Alice too. Grin.

paintmywholehousepink · 01/10/2020 20:15

Harriet!

ellentree · 01/10/2020 20:09

I like them both a lot! Sorry, not helpful.

hopelessatthinkingupusernames · 01/10/2020 20:07

Definitely Alice!

DramaAlpaca · 01/10/2020 20:06

I love both, please don't make me choose Grin

OK, if I had to choose I'd pick Harriet because it goes best with my own surname and because I adore the diminutive Hattie.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 01/10/2020 19:54

Harriet by miles.

Alice is the wishy-washiest girls name in the world, after Freya.

Liddell · 01/10/2020 19:53

Alice

newstart1234 · 01/10/2020 19:50

Both are great names but I like Harriet most.

Chattercino · 01/10/2020 19:49

Harriet

augustusglupe · 01/10/2020 19:48

I like both but prefer Harriet

Ajl46 · 01/10/2020 18:16

Harriet - it's classier and more unusual, plus it can be shortened to eg Hattie so is more flexible.

Glitterbubbles · 01/10/2020 17:50

Alice

Oneandabean · 01/10/2020 17:46

Alice

StrawberryMice · 01/10/2020 17:17

Alice. I think it's so pretty for a little girl and it's cool as well as pretty for a grownup.

I like Harriet too very much, but it feels more of a serious/classical name, which Alice is too but also Alice is also cool/jaunty/modern, which I don't see Harriet as being. And Harriet will likely be shortened to Harry whether you like that or not Smile whereas Alice is likely to be always Alice.
