I like it a lot!

MonkeyPuddle · 30/09/2020 16:18

Just makes me think of jet engine.

Aquamarine1029 · 30/09/2020 16:17

John Travolta's late son was named Jett. My great uncle who was born in 1909 was named Jetty and his nn was Jett. I like it.

Too Katie Price.

SpeckledyHen · 30/09/2020 15:54

Nope . Too America for me .

Standrewsschool · 30/09/2020 15:53

Sounds American. But quite like it.

wizzler · 30/09/2020 15:49

Gladiators ready

eddiemairswife · 30/09/2020 15:27

A character in a comic.

nocoolnamesleft · 30/09/2020 15:23

Won't they spend their whole life saying "with 2 t's"?

BigRedBoat · 30/09/2020 15:06

Dd1 was at nursery with 2 Jet's (although I think one was actually short for Jetson), just worth keeping in mind if you're trying to be 'unique'. Personally it's not my cup of tea (I think Katie price has a Jett?) but it's not awful.

BlueDream · 30/09/2020 15:04

Shite.

pippistrelle · 30/09/2020 15:03

It's a sound rather than a name, as such. But if you like the sound... Although you get the same effect with only one t and that is at least a word.

I think Benny/Bennie (?) and the Jets just had the standard numbers of t's.

Whatsyourflava · 30/09/2020 15:03

I know Mumsnet won't like it but I think it's fine

JonHammIsMyJamm · 30/09/2020 15:00

It’d be a ‘ no’ from me because of that, plus I prefer more traditional names

JonHammIsMyJamm · 30/09/2020 14:59

Doesn’t Katie Price have a child called Jett?

anxietrist · 30/09/2020 14:59

Reminds me of Katie Price - I think that's the only time I've heard the name!

MooseBreath · 30/09/2020 14:58

The first thing that comes to mind is Benny and the Jetts.

I don't mind the name though.
