Common as in well used

I would say fairly common

I have a unisex name which is a lot more popular for men but quite uncommon for women

AnnaMagnani · 27/09/2020 15:11

Rare. People know of it, can't pronounce it and I have only met one other and never with the same spelling.

Bernardstolemywatch · 27/09/2020 15:11

Common and classic.

AltogetherAndrews · 27/09/2020 15:11

Uncommon, or rather, 150 years out of date!

FourTeaFallOut · 27/09/2020 15:10

You couldn't swing a neon bum bag in my classroom without hitting several other girls with my name.

legalseagull · 27/09/2020 15:10

It's considered 'normal' as in it's an actual name, but it's uncommon. I've only ever met one other. It's wayyy down in the 400's for popularity ratings

rhowton · 27/09/2020 15:09

Common. There were 5 in my year of 50 and I was born in 1989. My middle name is one of two that every girl was given.

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 27/09/2020 15:08

I never seem to meet many but its a classic name (think Sophie, Charlotte, Laura type names) and has been top 10 for eons.

Quizeerascal · 27/09/2020 15:07

For my generation fairly uncommon, overall quite common (I'm not sure I've ever met someone with my name who is younger than me)

Lavendersy · 27/09/2020 15:07

Uncommon. I've only met one person with the same name. I love it!

CormoranStrike · 27/09/2020 15:05

Very common for the sixties, rarely used now.

Margotshypotheticaldog · 27/09/2020 15:05

Uncommon. And it's actually not Margot Wink

NotExactlyMrsCurrentAffairs · 27/09/2020 15:04

Mine's both, a common name with an uncommon spelling

dementedma · 27/09/2020 15:04

Same as Mojo. Popular in the 60s.

Savemyusername · 27/09/2020 15:01

Not common although there were three of us at my last place of work.

MojoJojo71 · 27/09/2020 15:00

Very common for women born in the same decade but rarely used now

Bellabluea · 27/09/2020 14:59

Fairly common but described as ‘classic’ on baby naming threads.
Personally I’d love to have a really unusual but not bonkers name.
