Beautiful girls names but not overused

My problem is the name that I feel like I might go for - unless I find one that feels like ‘the one’ in the next week or two is Grace.

I think it’s beautiful but I know it’s just so popular and that’s what’s bugging me. I noticed it had a real rise in the recent charts as well.

I’d like a feminine pretty name that isn’t overused but isn’t strange in the way that people are confused of spellings.

A boy would have certainly be called Ezra which fits all of my criteria - not overly popular but a well know enough name, lovely name and sound.

Any suggestions would be helpful because it’s getting closer and closer.
I’ve considered Aurelia for a long time but it’s the pronunciation and spelling that’s putting me off of that one.

Take a look at the top 1000 names in England and Wales and decide what your level of popularity is (for me it is outside the top 100). If you're in Scotland there is a separate top 1000 list and a top 500 list for Northern Ireland.

There are so many names that even 'popular' names aren't that common. I would use Grace if you like it.

Hope and Joy have a similar virtue feel to Grace. I always thought Leila was quite a nice option as being classic yet not as used but I think I read recently that's been shooting up the charts! Or maybe something like Clara, Rowena, Enid or Anya, of which are (I think) less popular.

Emma is a beautiful name and not used much these days?

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 27/09/2020 08:47

I have no because I'm looking for exactly the same and my favourite was Gracie for along time, but now I've went off that. My current favourite is Elaina, but not sure if its a bit long sounding.
I've been through thousands of baby names, and can't find anything I like, so watching this thread.
