A Polish girl I used to to work with called Marcela, I adore the name because of her

I taught two young men at university two years on the trot called Junior.

Both Juniors were two of the nicest, most dedicated, hardworking, kindest, most supportive people I've ever had the pleasure to meet and teach.

I am now positively biased in favour of anyone called Junior (not that I'd met any before and haven't met any since).

Christine, Jane, Julie, Emma.

Matthew, Mark (at one time nearly all our male friends were called Mark!)

  • and I kind of like Shane because of one lovely boy, in the sense that if I was going to meet another Shane I would expect him to be a nice person, but it's not the style I would use for a child of my own.

As a primary teacher, I taught lots of little boys called Bradley in my first few years of teaching 15-20 years. They were always lovely kids. Never taught a bad Bradley!! I never actually liked the name and it seems to have fallen out of use now.
