India, Lottie, Eliza or Heidi?

As the title says! Which do you prefer?

We already have a Harry and Harper. We don't know the gender but if it's a boy we're going with Finley.

Baby is arriving any day now and I don't like that we don't have a set girls name!

Eliza
Lottie isn’t bad, but I really would put Charlotte on the birth cert cos it’s quite nursery.

I think India is a bit of a dodgy choice these days unless you are of Indian extraction, because in the uk it was traditionally used by raj families.

Heidi I just think is a bit wet and 70s

Congratulations! Love Tommy. All the best !

@Momtot

Just remembered I’d done this thread!! I was definitely in the pregnancy brain fog stage 😂

Anyway, we had a boy! He just wasn’t a Finley, so was nameless for a few days until we decided to name him an adaptation of his uncles name, Tommy, it 100% suits him!

Thanks for the advice though!

Just saw this!!

Sorry, rtft Henrietta Blush.

Congratulations on the arrival of baby Tommy Flowers. Love that name! I wanted Thomas nn Tommy for DS but DH rightly thought it was because I had a crush on Cillian Murphy in Peaky Blinders Grin.

I don't like Lottie on it's own or India.

I really like Heidi and Eliza.

I like Heidi a little bit better than Eliza, but because you already have a Harper, I'd probably try to avoid another H name, to avoid having two Miss H. Smiths at the same address.

afrikat · 04/02/2021 09:35

Eliza 😀

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 04/02/2021 09:32

Oops! Just seen your update. Congrats!

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 04/02/2021 09:32

Not Heidi! 3 'H' names will seem too intentional. Eliza is best! India is pretty too. Lottie is okay for a child but too juvenile for anyone over 6 and Charlotte is dull.

Marlena1 · 04/02/2021 08:58

Tommy is a great choice, well done OP (love when people update!) Congratulations!

DrFoxtrot · 04/02/2021 08:12

IT'S A BOY Grin

Lovely name OP!

Would’ve said Eliza or Heidi, both gorgeous but Eliza to move away from the H’s.

Love Indie and Indiana but not keen on India, don’t know why.
Happy deciding!

Momtot · 27/09/2020 16:04

Glad to see a few more votes for India! It would be shortened to Indie 😊

Think I might stick with my favourite then - India Eliza. If she grows up and doesn't like Indie or India she can always use her middle name!

Eliza is perfect
Also love India

paintmywholehousepink · 27/09/2020 11:04

Lottie. Short for Charlotte?

Beks1 · 27/09/2020 11:02

I wouldn't use Lottie if you have a sister and sister in law called Charlotte. I like the other names though, not sure I have a favourite they're all nice names

ifiwasascent · 27/09/2020 10:55

Eliza, dont like India but love Indie

babygrootandstarlord · 27/09/2020 03:57

Eliza

MercyBodle · 27/09/2020 02:58

Not Heidi with 2 H names already.
I love Eliza and it's my clear favourite from your list. It just seems odd to me though to have 2 daughters called Harper (I assume Harper is a girl) and Eliza, such totally different kind of names. Eliza is perfect as Harry's sister though.
I also like Lottie, my 2nd choice. I like the sounds of India but not the awkward reference to British colonial history so would avoid it for that reason. (Ingrid, Indigo for similar sounds?)

motherofdxughters · 27/09/2020 02:18

Eliza.

MeganChips · 27/09/2020 01:58

Eliza
Lottie
India
Heidi

Personally I really dislike Heidi, no real reason why. They rest are perfectly nice.
