I know someone who called their firstborn this. Then suddenly his name was changed to something classic when she came to her senses. Honestly I don't like the American style names, but what matters is what you like. To me cash is money and not a name.

It’s dreadful. OP, all the jokes posters are making here WILL be made to you child if you name him Cash. People will also make assumptions. It’s kind of like how no one who would have a chance of their kid joining the royal family would name their child Princess.

I quite like it and I'm fairly conservative with names usually - don't understand the hate for it here! It's quite a popular name in the US isn't it, so would assume some American family connections.

I know Kash as short for Kashif or Kashmir.

Please give him a longer name to use in case the teasing gets to him, and use Cash as a nickname.

Actually I was just coming on to say the only Kash I know is a Kashmir!
I actually quite like it. I remember thinking it a bit odd when I first heard it on Power but then it grew on me. I assume its quite popular in the US?
