Hi all,

We like the name Kacey/Kacie for our DD, but can't decide which spelling looks better. I'm leaning slightly towards one of them but I'd like to hear other people's thoughts first. We know that Casey is the traditional spelling but we much prefer the other two so don't suggest Casey please Smile

So out of Kacey and Kacie, which do you like better?

Thank you x

I know a Kacie, awful name though, it has a certain vibe.

Thanks so much for all your responses so far. Interesting, I was leaning more towards Kacie, but after reading these comments I think I'm swaying towards Kacey now! It's so hard to choose!

Katie/Katy isn't an option for us, it's too common and we just don't really like it.

Quite like @Porridgeoat's suggestion of Acacia with Casey as a nickname, that's something for us to think about.

Please keep the responses coming Smile

Sorry I meant Kacie / Kacey Smile

Thefaceofboe · 20/09/2020 19:12

I prefer Kasie but it is more ‘cutesy’. Kasey might be better when the child is older.

oiboi · 20/09/2020 16:54

Kasie

SoftMick · 20/09/2020 16:52

I know a Kasey. Just to add that in to the mix.

Brighterthansunflowers · 20/09/2020 16:49

Kacey

Anappleaday1 · 20/09/2020 16:13

Kacey

Porridgeoat · 20/09/2020 15:28

What about the longer name acacia (after the tree) and then nick name Casey. Kasie kasy looks bit too creative

notheragain4 · 20/09/2020 15:28

Kacey, because Kacey Musgraves is my queen Grin

qazxc · 20/09/2020 15:26

Sorry Kacey, my autocorrect had a different idea.

qazxc · 20/09/2020 15:25

I'd lean towards the Kasey, spelling.

WettnWild · 20/09/2020 15:22

Had a male friend called Casey so I think of that spelling as masculine anyway but for a girl I would use Kacey.

Kanaloa · 20/09/2020 15:15

I like Kacey best. No real reason except that I think it looks nicer!

tornadoalley · 20/09/2020 15:11

Much nicer and more usual spelt with a C

AlicjaCross · 20/09/2020 15:01

Neither. Spell it properly with a C.

MonsterRehab23 · 20/09/2020 14:59

I knew a Kacee (from US).

percheron67 · 20/09/2020 14:57

Dreadful name whichever way it is spelt.

len1234 · 20/09/2020 14:57

@lucymagoo I agree, I really dislike Katie.

lucymagoo · 20/09/2020 14:35

Either are lovely! I'd lean towards Kacey. Much better than the more dull Katie people seem to be suggesting Hmm

len1234 · 20/09/2020 14:01

I think Kacey looks nicer personally. Smile

SallySeven · 20/09/2020 13:55

Probably Kacey.

ALLIS0N · 20/09/2020 13:53

Neither.

Go for Katie or Katy if you like the sound.

Prettybluepigeons · 20/09/2020 13:52

Neither.
Katy would work though.

FizzingWhizzbee123 · 20/09/2020 13:51

Kacey
