One syllable middle name for Carys

Looking for a one syllable middle name for Carys. Was originally thinking Hope, and we might still go with that, but wavering a bit. I really like Faye but DH doesn't. Surname is 3 syllables starting with D, so O, U, A middle names are out for giving silly initials. Any suggestions?

Carys Wyn and Carys Bryn sound like 50 something S4C/Radio Cymru presenters. Nice names though.

Bryn is a boy's name, as is Wyn, but both are unisex as middle names.

Carys Mae

Not one syllable but my Cerys has the middle name Elizabeth (our surname is double barrelled so not short either)

MikeUniformMike · 20/09/2020 19:59

@hollygoflightly, Haf is pronounced like Halve not Half.

Ashard20 · 20/09/2020 19:55

Rose

SospanFrangipan · 20/09/2020 19:51

Carys Wyn, traditional welsh :)

goteam · 20/09/2020 19:46

Carys Elle sounds like carousel. I think a name starting with a vowel though. Carys Eve is nice. Or Carys Wyn.

hollygoflightly · 20/09/2020 19:44

I came on to say what @caffisalimali said - if you're Welsh then Carys Haf is gorgeous! And if you're not, Haf means summer and is pronounced a bit like half. But more like haaalf Grin

mylittleavalon · 20/09/2020 19:37

Love Carys Blythe also Carys Bryn, Carys Quinn, Carys Bea, Carys Reese

I think lots of the J names suggested sound really nice, especially Carys June/Jude/Jane.
They seem to flow well.

Thanks everyone. Really like Beth and Blythe, will add them to the list. And excellent point about Elle Grin

Carys Jane
Carys Linn
Carys Gwen
Carys Anne
Carys Fern (or Fearne)
Carys Lark
Carys Maude

Mary is two syllables.... I would avoid Elle (would sound a bit like carousel!)

Carys Hope is lovely. I like Faye, too.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 20/09/2020 10:51

Carys Jo
Carys Belle
Carys Rose
Carys Jade
