Hello, I'm new to mumsnet after only recently discovering it and I'm pregnant with my 7th. We aren't finding out the gender but we have girls names narrowed down. Boys names are completely still up in the air. My sons names are Ezra, Silas and Freddie. Any suggestions you have would be really appreciated. Thank you!

I really like the name Cory actually. I think it would work well with my other boys. I'll have to get DH's opinion tonight

Henry is still my favourite!!! I would suggest Henry abel, Henry ceder, Denny ceder, Denny max or Denny abel. So basically not much help sorry!!! 😂 😂 😂
Oh, I still like winnie scout

TinaTraybake · 22/09/2020 19:52

@Flappingflamingo
We haven't decided yet but we've narrowed it down a bit more. Currently my favourite name for a boy is Abel but I can't think of a middle name that goes with it. Winnie and Marlowe are still our top 2 for a girl and the boys names narrowed down are Cedar, Henry, Abel, Max and Denny. We've decided that Scout is the middle name if we have a girl but not really any middle name ideas for a boy.

I don't usually like names like scout but, it matches your other children's middle names and I think with it being quite modern it balances out the 'old fashionedness' of winnie

Rufus
Wilbur
Hugo

@Flappingflamingo
I really like Grace or Ruth, still trying to convince DH to go with either if those two but maybe Scout or June could also go well with Winnie.

In all honesty I much prefer winnie to winifred so I would go with that, what middle name would you go for?
By the way, still love Henry forest!!

TinaTraybake · 15/09/2020 19:43

@Flappingflamingo
The more I think about it, the more I like Henry Forest. Winifred is also my favourite but my daughter today pointed out that Winifred can be shortened to Freddie and we have a Fred already. Do you think just Winnie would be a good name to use?

That was it, Henry forest!!!
I like June or winifred (winnie) out of the girls

ODFOx · 14/09/2020 21:53

Ezra, Silas, Freddie and....
Luke (or Lucas though I like Luke better)
Ali (Alistair) or Alex (Alexander)
Ralph (pronounced Raif)
My favourite though, and slightly out of time for your list...

Ezra, Silas, Freddie and Geoffrey ( Jeff).

There won't be another in the class for 3 years when there'll be a huge glut!

TinaTraybake · 14/09/2020 21:44

Currently the boy names me and DH both like are Henry, Abel, Cedar, Denham/Denholm and Otto. Girls names we have are Marlowe, Scout, June or Winifred.

I liked the suggestion on the other thread of using forest to tie all the names together, but off the top of my head can't remember the first name suggested with it

TinaTraybake · 14/09/2020 21:18

@TheNewLook
I'm an only child, so I always knew as a kid I wanted quite a few kids so I could see the sibling relationship I didn't get to experience growing up. I have 3 girls and 3 boys and both me and DH felt extremely happy with out family of 8, and if I'm being completely honest, baby number 7 was actually an accident but I'm extremely grateful to be able to have another child and I'm so excited to be adding another one to the mix but I can say that this will be our last.

Came on to suggest Septimus or Septima.

TheNewLook · 14/09/2020 21:10

Do you mind my asking, out of sheer nosiness and fascination, what the appeal of such a big family is? I’m trying to imagine having six and feeling it isn’t enough...

TheNewLook · 14/09/2020 21:06

Septimus, surely.
