Dc2 is due in November and we have no names on the list. Not a single one.
We don’t know the sex of the baby so would love suggestions for both.

I work with children and have a huge family which is not helping as it knocks lots out of the running. DH is clueless.

  • Dd1 has a classic name that was uncommon when we named her but has risen in popularity. I seem to like classic girls names.
  • I would prefer less popular but recognisable.
  • I seem to be drawn to biblical boys names but am open to ideas. Again, prefer underused but not too out there.
  • Any name must have good nickname options. I know that mumsnet is often against preplanning this but every name gets shortened in my family and I want to make sure that it is to something that I like.
  • surname is Evan so needs to go with that.

I know that I sound really awkward and probably am but any ideas would be appreciated. Smile

Thank you again all for your brilliant name ideas.
Just to let you know that Micah William arrived last night at 12:06 a bit earlier than expected but perfect.
I am so in love.

@Whatsyourflava

How about Miles or Milo then *@Bubblebox*

You said you like Elliot but wanted a shortening,
Eli and Ellis are two of my top favourite names and could be nicknames for Elliot

Milo is our cat. So definitely a name that I like but unfortunately not useable.

@Bubblebox

Still no name for poor little baby due in 12 days. I quite like Micah for a boy but is it My-cah or Me-cah or something else?

DH is utterly useless.

My-cah.

I didn’t realise that there had been more replies. Thank you so much for the ideas.
I do like Evangeline but I wonder whether it’s a bit ‘much’.
Florence and Constance are also nice but not quite right.

Naming this baby is proving really difficult. DH doesn’t like any only
My suggestions but doesn’t really have any ideas of his own.
We just knew with DD’s name. I feel like I’m going to end up settling with this baby.
