Open to new suggestions for baby girl...

I don’t know if I’m overthinking things. I’m
having a little girl and I’m open to all new suggestions now because nothing feels quite right.
For a boy he was definitely going to be Ezra and there were a couple of other names I loved too - Reuben (it’s not anything to do with wanting biblical names at all) and Blake I also loved but for a girl I can’t find ‘the one’
I so want to love my daughters name and love saying it but I can’t find the name that would be best and I only have about 5 weeks left.
Names I’ve toyed with are:
Grace
Aurelia
Ivy
Eva

But I don’t want anything too popular - and I’m aware those choices are, far more than my boys ones. I’d like something beautiful but not overused that I can enjoy saying and feel proud to say she’s called....

Any ideas?!

Both my dds names are on this thread. One is Elodie and we meet another once in a blue moon but I know they exist. The other one starts with z and ends in adie (trying to avoid a search hit) and I haven't ever met another child with her name. I thought she would have to explain her name all the time but she doesn't

Also love Aurelia from your list

If you like Blake how about Blair for a girl? Also think Blake is ok for a girl too though.

Thank you for all of the suggestions - for someone that asked - the surname begins with B and is one syllable.
I hadn’t considered Blake for a girl but it’s come up a couple of times on the thread - I don’t think the alliteration would be a problem and I like the sound but it’s not as soft/feminine as I would like.

I think your idea of Ivy is gorgeous-not common at all, strong, feminine, cute on a kid...

Mish85 · 07/09/2020 12:46

Blake would be great for a girl too!

Lilybet1980 · 07/09/2020 11:53

Love Blake for a girl!

DoTheMaccaroni · 07/09/2020 11:31

I think your mislead about the boys names not being as popular. They’re both waaay more popular than Aurelia anyway.

Last year...
Aurelia ranked at #202
Ezra at #60
Reuben at #44

I think Aurelia is a great name. It was actually one of the first names I considered for my DD!
