Would just be shortened to Sam, wouldn't it? But I like the full version. What do others think?

Objectively it’s a nice name but I also automatically thought of the Ring, and the American drawl when it was pronounced in the movie made it sound quite whiny.

I imagine it could also be shortened Sami, Sama and Mara.

I instantly just think of The Ring.

Which is a shame as it's a pretty name.
