Sibling for Arthur & India

Baby no.3 is a girl. We have Arthur and India already. Which do you think goes best out of our shortlist? I tend to like less popular names - Arthur was picked before the huge rise!!!

Florence (maybe too popular for us)
Ophelia
Arabella
Hattie (normally prefer full names but there aren't any for Hattie that I love)
Primrose
Effie (as above re. full names!)

How about Romilly or Romy?

I like Hattie and Primrose from your list but wouldn't opt for Hattie as the registered name - the Hatties I know (aged 16, 6 and 1) are officially Harriets and the teen has some friends who call her Harry or Riot, neither of which work for 'Hattie'.

Hattie was my preference out of your list. Not so keen on Arabella.

Florence seems to be getting the most votes but that was my least favourite - I’m really not keen on Flo as a nickname and so that puts me off.

Are there any that you think absolutely don’t ‘go’

Very posh names! I'd go with Arabella to keep to the theme.

Arabella is in the Top 100 atm at #71. Similar names Isabella and Isabelle are at #6 & #28.
Florence is #16.
Harriet is #49 and is occasionally shortened to Hattie. Lottie is also in the Top100 at #67 and is similar to Hettie.

I think a name that doesn't end in an A sound would make a nice addition to your sib set.

I think Florence and Primrose go really well with your other children’s names.
Know so many Arabellas lately so if don’t want popular I would avoid as seems to really be on the up.

Florence nn Flo or Florrie is lovely. I like Hattie but feel like it needs to be a nickname.
Not a fan of Ophelia or Arabella, i think they're quite pretentious and Effie is ugly.

Arabella goes nice as it ends in the 'a' sound. I also really like the name Effie.
