How many baby Anna/Annie's do you know?

And which part of the country are you?

Really struggling with baby girl names. DS has an uncommon shortening of a traditional but pretty out of favour name (top 150-200), which we love. We haven't met another and are hoping for similar for baby number 2, but struggling to find it!

London/Surrey border. I know 6 Annas and 2 Annies 5 years old and under so must be popular around here.

Sorry, two at home in Ireland, and one where we live in the South West.

SqidgeBum · 01/09/2020 21:42

I know two Anna's (both 3) and one Annie (not 1 yet).

Babies, I know one at the moment who is an Anna, but I know five more Anna or Annie’s under 6. There are two Anna’s in my DDs class at school and an Annie at her ballet. Top 150-200 is a pretty popular name, but why not look in the same bracket?

Rosa seems to fit the bill, at 154 last year, and you could have it as an uncommon shortening for something longer maybe?

1 Anna and 1 Annie both age 3 (in South East)

I don't know any. Anna is on my list of girl names though (if I end up getting pregnant again and it happens to be a girl)

I don't know any Anna/Annie's under 10, but I have taught an Ana (Anastasia) who would be about 14 now.

I love it, personally. DD has a variation of it as a middle name.
