Spelling and middle name help

DH and I are down to 3 first names for our girl. However we can't decide on the spelling of Blair/Blaire. I say Blair, he says it's Blaire. Which one do you prefer?

And any middle name suggestion would be greatly appreciated. We are at a loss here, we have no preference or any honour names we would like to use but have been struggling to find one we like. We have even thought of going with no middle name.

Don't like it. It sounds like Blare.

Blair Evangeline, Blair Antoinette to add as well

I'd pop that e on the end otherwise it would remind me of the Blair Witch

I have seen it spelt Blair more often. How many syllables is your surname? Might help us in suggestions. How about: Blair Juliette, Blair Cassidy, Blair Penelope, Blair Fern, Blair Abigail, Blair Emmeline?

Blar in Gaelic (with a grave accent over the a - sloping high to the left and low to the right) means 'field' or 'meadow'. It's a common word on (eg) signposts or street names in the Gaelic-speaking Highlands, very similar to 'Field' in England.

The English-language version is usually 'Blair' and usually a surname.

Just from my own point of view, I would not want to name a child 'field' because a child is is a human, not a piece of land.

But each to their own....
