Mary or Lauren

Which one do you like the most? I'm expecting number three - we have a Ben and a Hannah. Another boy will be Sam(uel) but we can't agree on a girl's name. Lauren and Mary are our current favourites but also like Catherine/Kate/Katie and Sophie.

Mary was my nickname for my vagina growing up so I couldn't name my child that lol. I love the name Lauren though

I prefer Kate or Catherine to either Lauren or Mary.

What about Laura?

I love Mary. If I had another girl she would be Mary.
I used to like Lauren but not so much now. Laura, Lara it Laurel all sound nicer to me.

I don't like Lauren at all.I think it sounds harsh - like Lorrin.

Mary is lovely and gentle sounding, and I love Kate, Katie and Sophie.
Catherine is nice, and I think that Cathy is due a comeback.

Mary might disappear into the May, Maya, Mia type names.

DD1 is a Kate, so you can guess which one I'd go for but all the names are nice apart from Lauren.

Sophie and Kate are overused and a little boring. I don't like Lauren at all.

Katie and Sophie are fine but very popular. I'm not a fan of Lauren and it strikes me as a different sort of name from your other choices. Ben, Hannah and Mary would be lovely.

Sophie then Lauren then Kate. Not Mary but Marie/Maria maybe could be above Sophie.
