Jesse.

Is it a marmite name? Any thoughts?

It's a lovely man's name.
Never heard of "big jessie" whatever that is.
I'm from the SE.

I’m not keen. Biblical Old Testament boys’ names are hugely common and now dated in the U.K, even if this particular one isn’t. Jesse will make people think you are Breaking Bad fans.

LOVE it

FloraGreysteel · 23/08/2020 09:32

Love it. All those old biblical men's names are fab (with the possible exception of Booz and Aminadab). (Yes I did look those up).

@AuntieStella the midlands! I did think it was maybe a little American...

Pronounced Jessie but spelt without the i. I am worried about the ' big jessie' connotations but I don't know if that's a dated saying or not.

Bad choice in Scotland

Fine in US

Which place are you nearer to?

wowfudge · 23/08/2020 09:23

I love it too.

missmouse101 · 23/08/2020 09:22

Male form I meant!

missmouse101 · 23/08/2020 09:22

Jesse is the maleform. I do like it but far too much potential for teasing; 'you big Jessie' etc...

JaJaDingDong · 23/08/2020 09:19

Isn't it Jessie? Or Jess, depending on how your pronouncing it?
I like it though

Ricekrispie22 · 23/08/2020 09:13

Love it. Love marmite.

ciaralily · 23/08/2020 09:08

I love it 😍
