Is Imogen that bad?

I think Imogen is a beautiful name and it's top of the list if we have a girl (i'm due in March). But why do so many dislike it? It's making me want to take it off the list!

To me it sounds a harsh kind of name. It's probably just me but I find that most names beginning with I do sound harsh.

I like Imogen. The ones I know get shortened to Immy.
