I love Thea but DP hates it. He likes Emma, Ellie, and Helen so far, but these remind me of all my school friends in the 90s! He hates anything he sees as 'pretentious'. So anything with a similar feel to Thea that he might like would be greatly appreciated!

Would he go for something like Sophie/Sophia so she could be Fia just different spelling? It is sort of less pretentious... Although I don't think Thea is a problem in that sense but might sort your DH's worry?

I can’t quite get a feel for the vibe that Thea has, so I might be off the mark. He likes plainer classic names and you want a bit of arty elegance, while still being classic?
