I promise this is my last post! Not much time left so weighing up all aspects. So annoying the 2019 stats aren’t around yet!

So just interested - how many baby Delilahs do you know? Where do you reckon it will fall in the UK chart for 2019 and 20?

One in West Yorkshire and I love the name!

NameChange84 · 19/08/2020 16:03

None, North of England. Hopefully it stays that way as it’s a horrible name! Only Delilah I can think of is Delilah Dingle.

zigaziga · 19/08/2020 15:52

I don’t personally know any but I do know of two via friends of friends etc. I quite like it.

PlantPotting · 19/08/2020 15:34

I don't know any and I know a lot of newborns!
Really lovely name with plenty of nickname options if you wanted or not if you don't.

RosieGirl27 · 19/08/2020 15:28

I know of about 5 all under the age of 1 in Essex I think it’s about to become very common...

Firebird83 · 18/08/2020 23:44

One, age 2.

neverevereveragain · 18/08/2020 22:57

I named a cat Delilah.

Got shortened to Delly-belly they Delibell.

I don't know any people called the same.

3 born recently. I think Delilah is going to be quite popular in the next year or so

micc · 18/08/2020 21:54

I dont know any and my DD is 4.
Haven't heard of any around either but I love the name!
Dont worry about the songs! All the names I love always have a song attached to it! Beautiful names inspire good music :)

HollowayL30 · 18/08/2020 21:44

My little girl is called Delilah (4) she even sings the song herself and loves when " Hey there Delilah.." comes on in the car 😂
You'd be surprised how many people comment on how lovely the name is and different as I don't know any other Delilah's yet but I'm sure that will change at school in September.

krj2608 · 18/08/2020 19:25

I'm south coast and I know 3 delilahs born this week! Seems to be growing in popularity x

One and it's spelt Dalila

Cbeebiesrehab · 18/08/2020 18:26

I know two. It’s a lovely name! My son is Jude and so many people thought they were hilarious singing ‘Hey Jude’ at him when he was born🙄 novelty wore off though, and it’s a cool song. Delilah reminds me of Plain White Ts!! (And I’m Welsh so you’d think I would think of ole Tom)

Yawningyawning · 18/08/2020 18:13

Three, I’m in south east. All under 5

quentinquarantinio · 18/08/2020 18:13

SandieCheeks · 18/08/2020 17:47

I know two aged 6 & 9, and several toddlers named Lila, Lyla, Lilah-May etc who may be Delilahs (and lots of Lolas, Laylas, Lulas and Lunas too Grin)

Dededa · 18/08/2020 17:32

I know one who’s in their late teens. Lovely name, was on our list for a while before we realised it didn’t work with our surname.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 18/08/2020 16:56

I know 3.
I think it’s a gorgeous name!!
