Is this okay?

OH and I really like the name Flynn for our little one due soon, however OH has a much younger brother called Finley, sometimes called Fin.

Would it be okay having a Flynn with and uncle Finley? They obviously wouldn't be together most of the time. I'm just very aware that Flynn and Fin are very similar.

If I had a boy I'd probably call him my brother's name TBH as I love my brother's name. It's totally fine! Fin will be honoured.

It's fine. I'm Katherine and have a niece called Kathryn. I have a cousin called Jonathan and my dad is John.

I have exactly the same name as my Aunty, and my name also rhymes with my mum’s. It’s never been an issue.

It’s only a tiny bit of time they will have together overall. I wouldn’t think twice about it!
Think more about school friends etc
