We are thinking Giada for a middle name. Baby will have my Italian surname (Paternal side of my family are all Italian), I’m not just randomly picking Italian names to be a bit different Grin

totallyyesno · 16/08/2020 20:48

How about Agostina (if born in August)? Or you could choose the saint's name for the day she is born - bit of a risky strategy as some of them are pretty out there! m.paginainizio.com/onomasticimob.php

BillyAndTheSillies · 16/08/2020 20:46

Lina or Gia.

MikeUniformMike · 16/08/2020 20:37

'Guilietta or Pietra
Silvia
Ilaria
Alessandra

My suggestions might be a bit dated

MikeUniformMike · 16/08/2020 20:34

Giulia or Giovanna?

SilverOtter · 16/08/2020 20:32

Ilaria

FanSpamTastic · 16/08/2020 20:28

Marilisa - uses parts of both of your mums names without actually being her name?

MrsBungle · 16/08/2020 20:15

My Italian ex SIL is called Floriana which I think is just beautiful.

CountryGirl36 · 16/08/2020 20:14

Thanks all. Mum is Marilyn Teresa but wanted something different. No family name - nona was Carmen but cousin used that already

I'd pick a family name and go for one with a real italian sound not the ones that are fairly mainstream here.
Your nonna's name perhaps.

What about Lucia? I adore this name, one of my favourites. Cleo Lucia is lovely.
