WDYT?

Other middle name suggestions welcome.
I do like Caspar with the a but think it looks better overall with the e.

Caspar, Rowan and Kit were all on the boy shortlist for DD, so we probably have similar taste in names. If I had to name a baby boy right now, he would be Ambrose or Clovis, with Oscar, Sebastian, Patrick or Benedict as possible middle names.

Tillygetsit · 15/08/2020 23:55

Caspar Rowan Henry is very distinguished.

Happymama24 · 15/08/2020 00:34

I know a Caspian, another name to consider

toastmeahotcrossbun · 14/08/2020 23:52

Caspar Rowan Henry is nice

MinnieJackson · 14/08/2020 09:32

I really like Casper but with an A. I thought they were great choices on first read but now I do agree with 'rowing kit' I like isaac.

elephantoverthehill · 13/08/2020 15:37

I'm sorry but when I clicked on the thread I thought 'Casper Rowan Kit' was some kind of knitting pattern. Grin I like all the names but Kit is a funny one imo. I once asked a colleague what they had named their new born and they answered 'Kit' I misheard it as 'Kid'.

AristotleAteMyHamster · 13/08/2020 15:32

What letter does your surname begin with? CRI could lead to recognisable words so I’d be aware of that if I were you.

Casper Rowan Henry is probably my favourite of the three.

WhereTheCrawdadsSing · 13/08/2020 15:31

FWIW, I have three names and I don't mind at all. My full maiden name was a lot of syllables! Never an issue.

WhereTheCrawdadsSing · 13/08/2020 15:30

Henry or Isaac work perfectly! Not keen on Felix after the other two names for some reason.

everly · 13/08/2020 15:28

Thanks guys! I'm very keen to have two middle names as its a tradition in my family. Kit doesn't seem to be a good choice so what so you all think of the following

Caspar Rowan Henry
Caspar Rowan Felix
Caspar Rowan Isaac

Great names, but the Kit third makes it sound like something you'd buy...

MikeUniformMike · 13/08/2020 13:15

Caspar looks better with an a.
Rowan is nice.

Kit is a bit downmarket.

FizzyGreenWater · 13/08/2020 12:42

Yes the third name is overkill really - who on earth is ever going to even know it?

I am not madly sold on Casper though, for me Kit Rowan would be the choice.

Also, it totally depends on your surname - does Casper sound good with it? Because he will only ever be known as Casper X!

123Dancewithme · 13/08/2020 10:25

Just Caspar Rowan is nicer.

IckleBear · 13/08/2020 09:00

Casper Rowan

olympicsrock · 13/08/2020 08:58

Caspar is much better and I prefer just Caspar Rowan. I have three names and always seemed a bit superfluous.

CabernetSoWhat · 13/08/2020 07:23

Kit at the end is redundant and sounds like "Rowing kit". Caspar Rowan Christopher makes more sense, unless you have a particular relative or something you want to honour?

1000mangoesinabirthdaycake · 13/08/2020 02:24

Exactly where my mind was at Brashopper!!

Brashopper · 13/08/2020 01:57

Rowan kits like these, @1000mangoesinabirthdaycake?

howlathebees · 13/08/2020 01:30

I don’t like Rowan and Kit together, Casper Rowan sounds nice

1000mangoesinabirthdaycake · 13/08/2020 01:16

I thought this was a knitting thread!

everly · 13/08/2020 00:48

sorry I didn't make myself clear, Casper Rowan Kit would be the full name with surname after.

Wagsandclaws · 12/08/2020 23:30

I have a Caspar with an A ( I've also got a Milo ) they really suit their names :-)

toastmeahotcrossbun · 12/08/2020 23:27

I'd go for Caspar Rowan which is nice.

Rowan Kit reminded me of 'rowing kit' so I think Caspar Kit Rowan is better if you're having all 3

Whatsyourflava · 12/08/2020 23:18

Is Casper Rowan Kit the full name or are you choosing between the three names?

Casper and Kit I LOVE. Two of my favourites. I think you're right to use that spelling of Casper as that's the more common spelling these days so that will be the spelling people are more likely to assume.

Rowan I prefer for girls but irrespective I just find it very trendy and too similar to fastest rising boy name Roman. (Plus RoHan, Roan and RoNan). I know so many babies with one of this tranche of names it makes my head spin.
