We have Maisie Ivy.

Due baby two later in year and recommencing name battle.

She was Jemima until I saw her and she was just not a Jemima, she is my Maisie moo. I adore her name, she absolutely owns it.

I like ie sounding names and we are in Scotland. Dh likes traditional Scottish names.

So far we have
Rosie
Holly
Poppy

Murdoch
Issac
Fergus

None of these I LOVE like I do Maisie. Although I didn't love Maisie till I saw her.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or combinations which might work?

I also love Scarlett but dh does not and there is a local accent issue with it becoming scarluh

You both say flora, that's not a name I've heard used. I quite like it.

Love Morag, love it.

What about the margarine with Flora? Do kids get that picked up on.

Oh a names, this I had not considered.

Oh yes I know not Scottish, read it back and thought I made no sense. I meant dh loves Scottish names, I like ie sound and we both seemed to like the examples given.

Ailsa is interesting.

Maggie was the other dh said while I remember, thank you.

I like Fergus, not keen on Isaac or Murdoch.
Your girls names are nice, I wouldn't use Rosie with Masie though. They're not very Scottish though. I think names with an "a" on the end sound better with Maisie than ones that end "ie" or "y".
Flora
Freya
Ava
Isla (too popular?)
Martha
Ailsa
