Best brother name for William ??

Hi. Just wanted peoples opinions on which name goes best.... my first son is called William ...... second son: should be Thomas, Edward, Oliver ??? Really stuck and can’t decide !?!?! Thanks x

Your ideas are all good. I suppose I feel I know a lot of Thomases (age 3-9) and know of a lot of Edwards.

I forgot Robert. I like Richard but not sure I'd saddle a child with a name that many will turn into Dick.

I do think it's a good idea to have names that are of a similar type. If I had one child called William and another called Apollo or Ziggy or Kayleb, I'd expect to be fielding tiresome questions, not least from the boys, for the rest of my life.

I like Oliver but it's so popular now I'd avoid it unless you absolutely love it. Thomas and Edward are good names. I have a marginal preference for Edward.

Others you could consider: James, David, Jonathan, John, Michael, George.

Not Liam. Grin

My best friend has a William and also a Henry, George & Oliver.

Don't chose a name based on your first boys name. Just chose the name you like the most. It doesn't matter if the two names go together or not.

I like all the names you are thinking if although Oliver seems too popular
