There’s an awful lot of under 10 Violets about though.

I prefer Kiera/Keira/Ciara

I didn't like it years back, thought it sounded a bit old lady-ish, but with colours - Jade, Amber, Scarlet, Ruby,, Sienna, Coral, etc - being popular with family and friends, yes, I've changed my mind. Violet's grown on me, I do like it. -**

I prefer Viola. It sounds prettier and less like violent. In fact Violet and Violent are just one letter away.

I really don’t like it, but it’s fairly popular on here. A violet is a small intrusive weed to me, nothing I’d want my daughter to aspire to.

DH likes it, too. He also likes Kiera. Gosh it's hard naming them Smile
