If you'd call her Edie then might as well actually call her Edie IMO.
Edie Elizabeth sounds lovely.

Edith has grown on me, but I don't like Betsy - it's twee.

Thanks for your comments. Other options are Edie Elizabeth or Penny Elizabeth. Elizabeth or diminutive of Elizabeth is important as it is a family name. Not sure Edith Elizabeth goes. Also not sure about Edith as she would be Edie most of the time, so think maybe just Edie. What do people do with regard to schools say, form filling, learning to write name etc... I know there are no rules but would it be Edie or Edith? It is the first time I love both, normally would prefer the shortened version.

I like Edith, and Betsy is fine as a short form for Elizabeth, but I wouldn’t use it as a name itself.
