Really struggling with boys names

Bettie2192 · 26/07/2020 18:23

There’s loads of girls names I love but hardly any boys names. We’ve got a few in mind that we like, but there’s none i’m crazy about or think yes that is definitely the one.
Top of the list at the moment is Henry, I also like Charlie and Jacob but husband isn’t overly keen.
There’s also some more ‘out there’ names we really like but I just don’t think we can get away with them.
I feel like I hate most boys names! I don’t want to pick one just because it’s ok and I don’t hate it 😂

Hudson and Huxley also very cool suggestions!

Bettie2192 · 27/07/2020 11:06

@TheVanguardSix great list of names. I have also mentioned Arlo, Rex and Jude to OH before so they are maybes. I soo wish I could use Wyatt but it does not go with our surname at all :(
@Fromthebirdsnest Max and Jack are great names, I love Sebastian and Seb for short sounds great but I just don’t think I can get away with the name Sebastian 😔 really like Ted/Teddy as well but it’s the name of my parents dog unfortunately 😂 maybe as a middle name as a tribute to our beloved family pet lol
I'm midlands based, and my DS is Sebastian
Absolutely no problems here, and regularly been told its nice.

I’ve thought about it a lot since yesterday and I’m really into Hudson Cooper now, but open to suggestions on other middle names to go with Hudson

@ChristmasCarcass Miles is really nice but I don’t think it goes with our surname as it ends in an ‘s’ as well and sounds a bit rhyme-y

Bettie2192 · 26/07/2020 18:52

@clpsmum thank you! I just said to my OH, the more I think about Hudson the more I love it. Plus Hud for short sounds cool.
I would never have thought my OH would like any of these non-traditional names, he’s really surprised me with his taste in names lol
