... Franklin? If so, how old are they?

Curious also about the nicknames Frankie (for a boy) and Frank and whether you've met anyone with those names?

The Franklin I know, gets called Frank.

JacquelineLadyBugg · 30/07/2020 08:28

I know a baby Franklin. He is about 7/8 months now, I think. I love it! Think it's very cute, (as so is he, not that it's especially relevant Grin).

CasuallyFeminine · 30/07/2020 06:31

Yes, he'd be 22 now.

OhRosalind · 26/07/2020 17:23

Yes he’s five.

I know a 10 year old Frankie who is Franklin on his birth certificate. Also know a 10 year old Francis who was in the same class for a while.

MillicentMartha · 25/07/2020 16:45

The 2 Frankies I know are girls, short for Francesca. I know some a couple of 60 yo Franks, both Francis. The only Franklin I’ve ever heard of is FDR.

CuppaZa · 25/07/2020 16:44

emilybrontescorsett · 25/07/2020 16:35

Never met a Franklin. I had a great uncle Frank, it's an old man's name to me. There seem to be lots of little Frankies about.

Bananalanacake · 24/07/2020 22:54

Our cat was Franklin, named after a local brewery.

Stringsattached · 24/07/2020 22:15

The only Franklin I have heard of is a little hamster that my dc are obsessed with on YouTube.

Swearwolf · 24/07/2020 22:14

Oh, and he's seven.

Swearwolf · 24/07/2020 21:50

I have one!! I wanted Vincent, husband wanted Troy, we compromised with Franklin and he couldn't be anything else. He was frankie when he was tiny and he always will be to my mum, I mostly call him Franks. He introduces himself with his full name but doesn't mind the shortenings.

Iwantcollarbones · 24/07/2020 21:46

*down not sown..

Iwantcollarbones · 24/07/2020 21:46

I know a Franklin. British bloke in his 30’s I think. Has won lots awards in his field but is really quite sown to earth

netflixismysidehustle · 24/07/2020 21:43

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 24/07/2020 21:35

I went to school with a Franklin aka frank. He'd be in his 20s now

foxtiger · 24/07/2020 21:33

I know a boy called Frankie (that's his official name) who must now be about 18 or 19. Nice boy, nice parents. No other male Frank-variations at all, not even older people.

DanniArthur · 24/07/2020 21:29

I know one Frankie in his mid twenties. He was named after his father who must be late 50s/early 60s.
I like Franklin and Frankie is cute.
