Alex or Tom?

Will write Alexander/Thomas on the birth certificate. But which name do people on here prefer? Thanks Smile

I wanted Thomas Alexander for DS1 but DH vetoed Alexander so he's Thomas something else. Known as Tom to most people except us. I like Tom but it just seems like a different name when I've always called him Thomas.

Anyway I got my way with Alexander when DS2 came along. It's a middle name so not shortened,though my Dad used to call him Alec sometimes. But then he also called him. Brian...after the snail in The Magic Roundabout Grin

Both fab names whichever you choose though I'd probably go with Thomas/Tom as a first name.
