Sister for Alice

Hi,

Dd1 is Alice and I absolutely love the name, it’s classic, elegant and feminine.

If I could, I would name Dd2 Alice too! But I just can’t.

Which name is in the same vein as Alice and would match well:

Hannah

Emily
Lily

I know twins called Alice and Emily and the names really work together. Emma would also work

Hannah. Such a lovely name and goes well with Alice. It was hugely popular in the 90s but you never hear many children nowadays called Hannah

I agree it's a hard one to match

I like Hannah but I prefer to simplify it to Anna as that's so elegant like Alice. Not sure if Alice and Anna too similar.

I like all 3 of your names - think I'd pick Lily

They all go nicely with Alice. Emily is probably the closest, style wise, although my personal favourite is Hannah.

I like Lily, there were 7 Hannahs in my year at school so the world doesn't need any more!

The only baby Alice i know has a sister called Edie.

I love Alice too! They're all classics, I just think they're a bit "bland" compared to Alice.

Thanks all for the suggestions. But after much debate with my stubborn boyfriend.... the 3 names are my final shortlist, and would love to know which name in your opinion is the most similar to Alice. Thanks
