Is Florence too old fashioned??

I was wondering whether Florence was too old sounding for my DD. Whenever I think of a Florence I think of a nice old lady! Am I overthinking??

So it's top 20. Pretty popular. It's been steadily rising up the charts. A nice name, however, with a great heroine for inspiration.

I too think it's an 'old' style name but it's beautiful. I would use it.
It would get shortened to Flo.
