Hello again, thoughts on Elizabeth Alice?

Hello again, I recently put a thread up asking what people thought of Elizabeth Grace, and as many people correctly pointed out, Grace is quite overused for a middle name. So how do people feel about Elizabeth Alice instead? We already have a DS called Alexander Charles for context. Thanks Smile

I think Alice Elizabeth rolls off the tongue more easily. Elizabeth Ann works; or Elizabeth Joan.

Lovely.

That’s my name. So I say go for it!

LuckyLinky · 19/07/2020 22:59

Both are lovely. I prefer Elizabeth Grace.

Lovely.

Lovely. I really dislike Grace. Reminds me of greasy.

Fifthtimelucky · 19/07/2020 22:02

I love the name Elizabeth and prefer Elizabeth Alice to Elizabeth Grace.

TheHuntingOfTheSarky · 19/07/2020 21:08

I love that combination. I have an Alice Lilian ❤️

Have you thought about classic short names like Claire, Fleur, Jane, Hope?
Or slightly longer:
Celia
Frances
Diana
Honor
Flora

I find Alice just as run-of-the-mill as Grace actually. I prefer Grace though, and think it goes better with Elizabeth.

daisypond · 19/07/2020 20:50

It’s nice and both are nice names. But I do think there’s a repetition of sounds with Eliz/Alice. It sounds very samey. Personally, I’d go for a different middle name, if Alice is not a name that’s personal to you.

Longdistance · 19/07/2020 20:48

Ha! I have an Alice Elizabeth.

DramaAlpaca · 19/07/2020 20:47

Lovely. Even nicer than Elizabeth Grace and just as classic.
